The story of Dusko Whiskey begins with the recording of an album executive produced by Damon Dash called BlakRoc. The album combined the music of the Black Keys with some of musics most prolific MCs including, Mos Def, Raekwon, Q-Tip, the Rza, and Pharaohe Monch. The drink of choice in the studio during the recording process, was Whiskey. In the spirit of independence Damon was inspired to find and brand a Whiskey that set itself apart. His search led him to Spain and through years of sampling and blending Dusko Whiskey was born.
Dusko Whiskey is distilled, blended and bottled in Murcia, Spain. Dusko is aged a minimum of 3 years in butts and puncheons first used for Spanish Sherry. These butts and puncheons have a capacity of less than 400 liters (105 gallons) imparting a rich flavor and texture. With a beautiful amber color and notes of vanilla and almond, Dusko whiskey is perfect to sip neat or use in cocktails. Dusko Whiskey does not use any additives or coloring agents.
